LOL It is confusing and you can also mate hairy hairless to hairy hairless but get true hairless confused ya more lol
The gene that causes the hairlessness is dominant; but an incomplete dominant. This means that you can get some interesting and even extreme variations in the amount of hair an individual dog can have. Hairless cresteds can be seen with everything from absolutely no hair anywhere, to ones that are basically fully coated with a single coat, and everything in between.

good gawd..didnt relise there was so much to these hairless and puffs haha...yep im still confused tho but i dont care coz i still want one.
