Any pups I breed are endorsed.Never encountered any problems,I explain why they are placed.
The new owner needs to sign a contract saying they understand the puppy is endorsed and why.

i think endorsing is common in my breed but i suspect as numbers grow they won't be.
i reckon it would be better if they were automatically endorsed when they were first registered, the breeders could still lift it later like they do now.

Its a good idea and one that goes towards stopping bad breeding - there will always be people who will breed and sell them unreg to get round the endorsement BUT hopefully the new owners have been vetted and wouldnt do that sort of thing.

I was very lucky to get a female as most breeders of Pomeranians keep the female pups, as most litters contain boys (litters are normally between 1 and 3 pups I think).

So I thought Foxy would have had some endorsements.
The breeder said she would have kept Foxy but she had already kept one of Foxys mums previous little girls. Also if she came out a Wolf Sable she would have kept her too as she has been wanting one for years.

So I am very flattered that I got this little girl, as it was looking likely that I wouldn't get a female Pom! I would have probably ended up getting a little boy in the end, because everyone I contacted either only had little boys or were going to keep the female pup!...

It's a good idea & one of the many reasons I no longer breed - you can't endorse OTB's

i 'routinely' endorse all my puppies and those buying them (I hate using the term 'buy' with animals!) have to sign a contract of sale, part of which explains the endorsements and says they are signing to say they understand them.

Seperate thing, I know, but the contract also states the pups must be returned to me if they cannot keep it at any time during it's life.
