4 weeks normal behaviour??

Pups are now 4 weeks and over the last few days have noticed they getting more"nippy".......especially round my ankles. Thought it was cute at first nibbleing my trousers etc but seems to be bit more meaningful now. They started nipping my fingers today. 2 of them started barking today aswell
Is it just part of the learning process.......should i be correcting them or just let them learn from mum.
Cant remember what i did with last litter (you forget the bad bits!!!)

Re: 4 weeks normal behaviour??

Yep, normal sadly, as they have teeth like razors!!!!

Mine developed a penchant for hanging off my trouser legs.

I would just do as you would do with any puppy and yelp loudly when they do it, although they pay a lot less attention when they are a collective!

Re: 4 weeks normal behaviour??

I have a litter of whippets that are 12 weeks we had 9 pups and 7 are still living with us. Since they were about 4 weeks my 15 year old son has stopped walking round with bare feet Now they are older they are more likely to scratch then bite
