Is it normal

Hi Is it normal for my staffie bitch 2 still be bleeding 5 days after mating does thi mean she isnt pregnant ?
She is a 2year old on 3rd season kc registered and had all of her tests and checkups passed them all ! I have breed jack russels before but they stopped bleeding after 2 or 3 days ! her bleeding is watery bright red colour not realli heavy but still notcing spots on the floor ! Thanx

Some bitches do bleed after you've mated them.

You can get her scanned from 28 days onwards to confirm if she's in whelp.
What tests has she had done ?

going by my bitch afta mating she bled for about a week afta... i think it is normal, the blood color should be a lite blood color and not the dark color she had wen she first came into heat.

most of my bithes bleed up untill around day 9 then the bleeding stops untill around day 13 then around day 14 the bleeding starts again untill the end of the season even if they have been mated

Thanx for your replys she is my husbands dog and he is away this week! as for the tests i'm not sure ! will reply once he is back but i no she had afew and it cost lost of money lol !!!!
Hoping it will work as she is being spayed after this season whether she has a litter or not !

ok apparently she is l2hga and hc clear wot ever dat means and has had full checkup and injections uptodate is there anything else she should hav had ? i'm not great with all this testing always leave it down to him to do the vets stuff i do the hands on stuff !
The bleedin is a water bright red colour and we will be getting her scanned to see and how many pups if she is thanx for advice ! He prob no's all this but i thought i'd do as much reseach as possible as well ! going to buy book of the bitch tmoz is there any other books you recomend ? how different will a staffie pregnancy be to a jack russels ? and how likely is it that she will need a c section hav read that staffies are more likely to have trouble delivering them selfs thanx

staffys are pretty good for birthing natural...spose thats why there overbred aswell coz their so easy to breed ontop of being a chavvy dog . ( not haveing a pop btw )

only tme u will prob find a c section is needed is if she is carrying 1 pup.

She needs to be screened for PHPV & PPSC result should be unaffected.

It all depends on the bitch some need C-Sections others don't,have your vet on standby just incase.

ok great thanx all pups have loving family homes for up to 12 with close family and friends already so hopefully she is pregnant ! We maybe keeping one depending on if we can find a new house with a bigger garden ! and how are jackrussel reacts puppies running around
