designer dogs
what are your thoughts on these because they are the latest craze .
i dont think you should cross the breeds just to get a cute puppy? breeding designer dogs will only lead to health problems ? what are your thoughts on this?

Its the names I cant stand, sorry to anyone who has one but labradoodles and cockapoos! sorry but my OH just freaks when I tell him they are actually real dogs.
surely theres anough breeds of dog in this world to satisfy anyone! we shouldn't be messing with nature!

i cannot believe the prices they ask for them.this morning i'm looking through adds for toy poodles and came across a matlese terriercrossed with a poodle and they have the cheek to ask £1250. why they are listed under poodles is beyond me.

There is no need to cross breed at all - there are enough breeds out there to satisfy anyones taste or there are rescue centres bursting at the seams with cross breeds - the lack of health testing actually annoys me so much as the poor dogs suffer in the long run!!!!
But while ever there is a demand for the "designer" dog then people will breed them.
