Could i ask a question, one of my German sheps has only the mothers pedigree, due to a disagrement between friends , who had bred off the dog of those friends then fell out, i have seen both pedigrees as both familys are friends of ours, , but the owners of the sire will not give the papers to the Bitches family does that make my Gsd a mixed breed, and do all dogs have to be KC reg , both my dogs have had all health checks and everything else needed , but they are not KC reg , also if no one ever bred new breeds we would not have the amout of kc reg dogs we have now. all my other dogs have been Kc reg and it made no differance to how they acted or any problems they got, as i didnt want to show them i really couldnt see the purpose of kc reg, Just a question and an opinion.
