Trouble selling puppies

I got a Staffordshire Bull Terrier from a rescue centre in the summer anyway 6 weeks later we ended up with 7 puppies. They do look like Staffs but obviously i can't be sure. Anyway i've got four left to sell and i've got ads on tons of internet sites got posters up in three pet shops and other places i've asked everyone i know and i can't get rid of them. I've had a lot of time wasters They really need homes to get the love and attention they deserve. Anyone any ideas what else i can try to sell them?

Re: Trouble selling puppies

I'll be honest i haven't been back as when we got her we had to sign a contract that we except that she may be pregnant so i took that to mean that their covering themselves against any responsibility. But i guess it couldn't hurt to phone and ask.

Re: Trouble selling puppies

did the rescue not know she was pregnant?

I'm surprised the rescue didn't have her spayed before she was rehomed

hope you can find them homes as it is very hard at the moment because of all the bad press these dogs get

Good point Julie, normally a rescue centre would neuter/spay dogs in their care before rehoming them, all my rescues males & females were spayed/neutered before i took them home.
In our local free ad mag there are always litter after littter of staffies for sale on a weekly basis and in a recession it will be harder than ever for all of them to find good loving homes, makes me so cross.

Re: Trouble selling puppies

I'm in Staffordshire. No they said she was either coming into or out of season and i should keep an eye on her then get her spayed. To which i replied "ooo we'll definitely do that we don't wanna end up with pups!" oh the irony

Not all rescues spay/neuter, RSPCA included. They just give you a discount voucher >_<

Peace
