Re: Trouble selling puppies

I'm asking £100 and yeah i got a voucher to get her spayed at a discount price but they told me i should wait till she was mid cycle before doing it and as they said she was either coming into or out of season i didn't do it straight away.

Re: Trouble selling puppies

If the dog was pregnant when she left the rescue and they didn't tell you that was a possibility then contact them and ask for help. (they can only say no which i would hope they wouldn't )

Given the amount of Staffies in rescue including pups it's not suprising they aren't selling.

How much are you asking for them. It's such a difficult balance as clearly you don't just want to give them to any old Tom Dick or Moron that turns up at your door but every day that goes by people are less likely to want them and will look for a younger pup elsewhere.

What a difficult situation to be in. I hope you find them all good homes.

Re: Trouble selling puppies

Such a shame I also thought that RC wouldnt rehome her until she had been Neuterd and puppies rehomed ..

I would deff call where you got her from.. you would think they would have kept incontact with you knowing she my have been in pup..

Re: Trouble selling puppies

Thanks so do i. Yeah your right i don't want someone taking one for the sake of it which is why i'm trying to sell them and not just giving them away. I had a few e-mails last night about them so fingers crossed this time someone actually comes and takes one. I've loads of time wasters i had one couple come and look twice in one day only to have a text off them to say they've decided they don't want a pup their gonna get an older dog, why did they not decide that before they came? I'm asking £100 which i think is quite fair.

Re: Trouble selling puppies

I actually don't think £100 is a fair price for a rescue dog's puppies. I would have advertised them at that price, but then given them to the right homes for free, but that is just me personally. Maybe that's what you should do with these last few puppies. If that whole pregnancy stipulation was included in the contract, you shouldn't have adopted her just purely based on principle. To adopt out a potentially in whelp bitch was TOTALLY irresponsible on their part, especially if you've never had experience whelping puppies before.

I too think you should contact the rescue you got the dog from. They should be able to help you find homes at the very least.

I wish you the very best of luck with them.

Awww I've just seen them on your advert, they are sooo gorgeous. Wish I was in the position to have one.
Good luck and I hope you get lovely homes for them soon.
