Aww she is fine, milking it to the max of course.

My daughter slpet downstairs with them last night...as i want to to try and get used to her whelp bed....
She is eating loads, think her body is telling her to stock up on her energy.

She can no longer get up and down off the settee, and i have to lift her she comes to my bed, but she can get up the stairs and down on her own...although she pretends to my daughter she cant lol lol.

Max is loving it....she is a wee bit clingy to me, and he wont let her out of his sight....much to her annoyance. He looks at her, and wags his tail....she looks at him and shows her teeth lol lol.
But then he is very hyper at times, so she is just telling him to be careful.
Although a night she will cuddle up to him, and use him for his warmth lol

Same thing with Teigan and Milo, he wanted to play and she would oblige now and again if SHE was inthe mood, as soon as she was done with it, she would growl and warn him off, its like he wants her to play all the time as that is what he is used to her doing, but she wont have it and he cant think why she is doing the growling to him. He just sits there and looks at her funny. Yep she is surely stocking up on her calories ready for the day.
not long to go now eh! then all systems GO loloool xxxxxxx

PS....have you eaten all the ice cream lololol I remember buying in a big tub ready coz I kept eating it myself, I couldnt help it after-all I needed my calories to keep me going watching her in labour lololololololol

ha ha ha ha... no i have been very good lol lol although my daughter has made milkshakes from it. lol lol

dont give calcium whilst pregnant it can cause eclampsia,my little dog got it,i noticed straight away and gave her 2 indegestion tablets and then 2 600mg calcium tablets,also rang vet and bookd her in to see him,he said my quick actions saved her,if it is going to happen its usually around the pups being 2 weeks of age,it comes on pretty quick,my girl ate her breckie fine was bright and alert,an hour later she looked a bit glazed over and walked as if she had been at the whisky
id give calcium when shes had the pups,apparentley after doing a bit more research its more common in small breeds

This isnt to eat during pregnancy.....................it is to give a little to when she is in heavy labour, and during each puppy birth. I have done it, 2 breeders who told me about it does it, and my vet reckons it wont do any harm it will give a booste while contracting and pushing.

Day 55 !!!!!

All well with Molly and Max.

Eating great, even the food that is 'good' for her that she normally turns her nose up at, it is great..

Very clingy to my daughter all of a sudden, everything is going smoothly, i am just starting to relax lol.
But when she goes into labour, i will have to sit on my hands and stop myself calling 999, and racing her to hosptal lol.

Babies are active, which is a great sign.

Question, Can any recommend a disenfectent that is suitable...cheers xxxx

thanks girls, yes i read about that....it will only be when she is having them, and just a little icecream.

I also read to stop giving calcium rich foods 10 days before? although she dont have milk.....but she does like an egg?

What is the disinfectant for????????? Detol is good for cleaning anything.
