i could ask you the same question. no, i breed because of the few numbers of fells in the country. i breed because my dogs contribute towards making the breed a better healthier breed.
if the few fellow fell breeders and i stopped breeding the breed would dissapear in a matter of years. my breed is not kc reg and i am working towards getting it that way.

all dogs should be seen as equal, i mean most "mutts" seem to be healthier than pedigrees. Has anyone else found this?

Exactly so if you followed PETA's lead,then all breeds would die out.You also stated that PETA is right in saying we should all get dogs from shelter's & not breed that's why I asked you as you felt sorry for those dogs.

I breed to improve on what I have,to keep pups for showing and to further my lines.
I haven't bred anything for 13 yrs, and won't be doing so in the near future.

haha i never said nowt 'bout supporting PETA just that people shouldn't be bringing so many pups in to the world when there is so many with out homes!
