We both have thought that the bitch might not be ready but advice is always helpful. Can I thank you for your positive reply.
How long has she been in season for???

Re: Help with mating?

I can assure you the tests have been done! My dogs score is 4 on the left and 2 on the right, so i have assumed that it is a very good average, sorry if i have worded it incorrectly.

Re: Help with mating?

That is below the average ( Which is good )
All breeds have an average mean score - you aim for below that average if possible.

Re: Help with mating?

my bitch would never stand for a dog until the end of her third week of season, she would be in season for four weeks so it was always a case of when you think her season was done then she would stand, and she always had to be held as she was like a jake in the box, maybe that helps

and the first time she was mated she screamed the place down so it would be best to have a stud that knows what it for

Re: Help with mating?

Thanks to all for the information, and a big thanks to poochimama and Nici, I am taking my bitch to see the dog for the last time today, so what ever happens will happen. Thanks again for the advice.
