Wld the Kc accept toy yorkie X Kc medium yorkie?

My friend has a Kc reg Toy yorkie (2.5 yrs) she wants to breed her but the closest stud she can find lives 2 hrs away! BUT he's a medium Kc yorkie, wld the Kc accept these? Thanx xx

If both parents are KC reg then yes but it is not a mating that I would advise because of the size difference, the bitch could have problems giving birth.

The stud dog would be too big for her. Always get a dog smaller or the same size of your dog not bigger as she wont be able to deliver the puppies they would be too big for her, and if she have a singleton then you would have a c section looming. xxxx

In the Yorkie Breed I also do believe the dog should be Smaller in size than the Bitch going by the Standard

i totally agree with this post, your friend will be putting her dog at great risk of losing her life.

my friends Grandma bred yorkies she used oversized bitches to small dogs

they have only 1 breed standard there isnt a toy or a medium
