Has anyone ended up with kittens/puppies that just did not sell?what did you do,reduce the price.What happens when you are left with a older juevenille pup/kitten? ive been looking on-line and i noiticed that some people near me are still trying to sell their utonagon (apparently)pups,now being 9 months old,they are also advertising a new batch of 9 week olds!they dropped the price from £500 each to £200 pair! also saw ad from bengal breeder who had some older youngsters left from previous litters.

You've only got two choices, drastically reduce the price or keep the animal. I've been known to actually give them away under these circumstances (admittedly unregistered ones, but pedigree)

Ive had this twice, once where I had to take a pup back off someone and the other time the pup was about 12 weeks old and people wernt that interested at that age.

Both occasions I kept hold of them and did everything what they would have done in their new homes for their sake. I socialised them, lead trained them, house trained them, you name it. I only sold them when I thought they were ready and waited for the right people to come along.

Once happened to me too, we were left with a bitch puppy, we socialised and trained her, and at a year old through a friend an ideal home came up for her, if it had not she would have stayed with us.
Her new owners regularly email to let me know how she is getting on, I'm glad we waited for the right people to come along, she is a lovely dog and has made her owners very happy.

ive was left wiv 2 pups 12 weeks old, the others went between 8 and 10 weeks old.

i had them both inoculated and they both went to good homes 2 days apart
