Re: buyers deciding they don't want a puppy

The puppy is absolutely gorgeous. I'd love another dog, but other half wouldn't be too pleased, he thinks I've got too many animals as it is, lol. Why does anyone get an animal and then decide that they don't want it, especially a baby one?

I know gazt, I felt really sorry for the boy because he and the pup had bonded from the first time they saw each other. And you could see he was very upset that we were taking the pup back - I almost offered to take the boy as well

Beats me why anyone would do that. I think in this case it was money - can't see any other reason. I think she had bitten off more than she could chew, and tried to make out we had sold her an aggressive puppy so that she would get all her money back, including the deposit. Anyway, it didn't work; she didn't get her deposit back

I can well imagine it! Aren't some people just the pits? It's as if they think of pups as inanimate objects rather than living, thinking beings.
