Re: on behalf of my friend

Sorry but got to ask.

Why has the kennel's rehomed a 'Ab pit cross' ????

I take my hat off to the breeder's that take the time, effort, research, love and devotion to what they are doing.

But to the one's that have the 'Accidental mating' to me they out for money.

I was going to rescue a 8 week old AB pup (from a 13 pup litter) the guy said all he wanted was a loving home for them, then he said he was fostering them out, after a phone call he wanted £300 to cover the cost of the upbringing of them. Then to top it all my daughter found his ad selling them for £500.

Were does it end???

Re: on behalf of my friend

Your "friend" should have had the mating stopped.within the first 72 hours the bitch could have had an injection to stop it.Very irrisponsable

So I take it your friend is going to ignore the current legislation, that clearly states,
We must, however, also be aware that 'types' of these dogs are also affected. This means that your dog doesn't have to be a Pit Bull or Tosa to be subject to the DDA: it simply has display physical and behavioural characteristics similar to those displayed in breeds covered by the act.
As under British law it is an offence to own, keep, gift, breed from or sell any of the dogs mentioned above.

How stupid and irresponsible to breed a litter of illegal pups and then pass on the responsibilty on to new owners that could be prosicuted under the DDA.By the way I hope they have plenty of money to defend the case if it goes to court and it does not fall under any legal aid system and it is very expensive to defend a case of this nature in court.

Can't your friend come on here and put her point across.
If I was a betting person I bet a tenner that the 'friend' is the OP.

'on behalf of my friend' = ME (but to embarressed to admit it LOL)
