Re: URGENT timing advice - PLZ help!!!???

Hiya,

I do appreciate your concern and it's a fair question - But please be assured I have not taken this decision lightly and although inexperienced on the breeding front am not stupid and am an experienced Dane owner and am doing plently of research prior to going ahead!
I have made arrangments to stay locally to the stud for a couple of days to mate them a couple of times and I only say I can't afford to make 2 trips as I don't want to dip too deeply in2 the money set asside for complications also because of the distance and the arrangements to stay a couple of days I can't just up and go a 2nd unexpected time due to my daughter needing to see her father at the usual regular times. Which is also not an issue if she iss ovulating when expected (although telephoning the vet shortly to find out about a blood test to confirm so that it's not missed and any arrangements with my daughter can be made if needed!).

I have always wanted to get into breeding properly but have never had the financial stability or the space and facilities and so this litter is just a one off (whilst I do have these things) for the experience and to hopefully produce some lovely healthy, even tempered pups for good homes (I sincerley hope and plan to vet!) I also aim to keep one of the pups and to have Layla spayed at a healthy time after the litter.

And that will be it for my breeding 'career' so to speak - just something I have always dreamed of experiencing.

xXx
