Not eating after mating

We took Mia to stud at the weekend and they tied for 20 minutes. She seemed quite happy in herself the day after but since then she has been off her food and im having to try and make the food more interesting for her so she will eat it. Shes never been like this before - what do you think it means?
Is there any connection?

They can pick up infection through mating check her and if she has odd discharge she will need ABs.Also if you are worried take her to vet now.

Re: Not eating after mating

Hi there, mine go a little quiet for a few days after mating. She will eat eventually, but dont fall into the trap of hand feeding and cooking meat to tempt her as it will only make her a fussy eater.
