What age do your pups go off to their new homes?

I met someone just today who got their puppy at 6 weeks old and this is not the first I've heard of. On the other hand my friend who breeds danes she sends them off at 5 months with all injections and fully socialized to everything you could likely socialize a puppy too.

I sent mine off at 8 1/2 weeks old some with first injection and some not (upon request of to be owners who wanted to do it with their vet). what about you guys what do you send yours off at/ or get yours at?

mine go at 8weeks . i leave innoculations to the new owner in case their vet doesn't use the same innoculation as my vet.

Ours never go before 8 weeks. We microchip them and give them their first vaccinations before they go.

I would say 8 weeks a day either side wont make much differance but I would say no younger than that.

i'd have no problem letting one go at 7 weeks IF the new owner was breed experienced and i knew them well.

We had Zach at 7 weeks as he was a confident pup who was well socialised, we had no problems there

Re: What age do your pups go off to their new homes?

I read somewhere (but i can't remember where) that it is illegal to sell pups at less than 8 weeks in the UK but it is not enforced ?

We had our Yorkie at 10 weeks. the breeder doesn't let them go before they have had their injections and are microchipped.
