I am on my first litter and have the new owners coming on Saturday to reserve.

Apart from a receipt for the deposit, should i give them anything else at reserve stage?

info on the breed, let them know what you plan to ween on and if they want they can get some in ready.

Good thinking... i already have a copy of a breed book for them each they can take that away with them. It was going in the puppy pack but i think some advance reading is in order!! I will let them know what they will be eating and send them home with some too.

Just had a miracle. I pulled out of a purchase as the buyer wasnt returning calls and didnt seem to want to engage in anything other than handing over her cash. Someone must be smiling down though as the most lovely childless couple have just called and are coming down from London tomorrow to meet them. Sounds like it will live in the lap of luxury. Glad i went with gut instinct on the last buyer- after a long conversation i have told him to forget the puppy and take me!!!

same as the others realy regarding puppy pack!
but i do make sure that i have done a home check
also make it clear any problems i will take the puppy back and rehome it so that i can find the best home possible.
these things you should always point out to new owners
