Question diet plan for a pregnant terrier

ok im not sure if this should go under the food/diet bit or here but anyway.....
i have only bred gun dogs in the past so i was wondering if anyone could help me with the amount to feed her and if she will need any supplements. also if you could recomend some brands of food that would be super helpful

thanx

Re: diet plan for a pregnant terrier

It would depend upon which breed of terrier you are talking about but I dont usually give my bitches (have been breeding PRT and JRT for over 30 years) anything extra i.e. supplements but at about 5/6 weeks pregnant move them onto a good quality puppy food (James Wellbeloved, Royal Canin etc).

You could also try giving her Whelpi which is a supplement milk, at about 6 weeks pregnant i swear by it.
