pregnant dogs and pooh...?

how much should a pregnant dog do the toilet??
I know she has to eat little and often but my cousin says she has done 3 or 4 lots of pooh in about an hour. Is this normal?
she wont ask to go out, just stand and look at her n do it on the floor or in her bed!
she's taken her out after every meal and every couple of hours and she will toilet outside but how does she get her to stop toileting inside?!

sorry for all the questions. lol. my cousin is learning by getting me to ask, and im learning too. lol

Re: pregnant dogs and pooh...?

During pregnancy and for a while afterwards, incontinence can be a problem,as for how often, the answer would be whenever she needs to id imagine

Re: pregnant dogs and pooh...?

Hi, we went through a period of housetraining being forgotten mid pregnancy. There seems to be a point where they are caught short or with so much going on inside them they don't get the usual urges. My girl is 7.5 weeks pregnant and now she is carrying beneath her instead of to her sides she is back to normal and asking to go out.
i remember it was frustrating and i couldnt explain why she was using the floor rather than the garden but i can reassure you it passes and be gentle on her.
And yes, they do go little but more often due to storage space!
