Re: Heat pads for puppies
Hi there.
We bought both a heat pad and heat lamp when our bulldog had her first litter. Purely due to bulldogs breathing habits. We prefered the heat lamp as it was easier to contol. You might be beter off with the lamp if the house is really cold. After about 2 weeks they should be able to produce there own heat and you can change to a heat pad after this. The lamps are about £25 quid on ebay but well worth it. You cousin should feel proud as many people would have walked away as puppies are a big expense. All the best. |
