Daisy is still swollen is this good sign?

Daisys was mated on the 14th and 16th of Jan.
The first tie lasted 20 mins and just before we got up to leave the stud came back for seconds (cheeky) so we had a second 10 minute tie.

48 hours later we had another tie of about 12 minutes

these ties were on Daisy's 11th and 13th day of her season

we are now between 14 and 16 days in, and Daisy is very sleepy, loving and was sick (yellow) today, all of which she was last time, which turned out to be a phantom. But this time her vulva is still very swollen, I have read that this is a good sign.

Any advice?

Hi Rona thanks for your reply

from past experience I dont think Daisy has an infection. she has had a uterus infection before and the signs are very different

from reading other post, some dogs, while pregnant their vulva will stay swollen.

I really wanted to know how long after Daisy's season would her vulva go down if not in pup. I haven't took any notice before.

Hi, yes it is a good sign, their vulva tends to stay a bit swollen and puffy if they are pregnant. Fingers crossed for you.
