I have no idea if this is a wind up or not. But if Bordie breeds terriers for working and chooses to cross breed working dogs to produce what he wants I cant really see a lot wrong with it.
and what health tests would there be for JRTs or Lakelands.

I must admit that we used to have a jrt x border terrier and she was the best worker that I have ever come across. Tremendous dog only went to the vet twice in her 14 years. We had her put to sleep at 14 as she had various cancers including numerous skin and mammary tumours.
I suppose we might have just been lucky with her lack of problems. But we will never know and given the chance I would take a risk and buy her again tomorrow I think you would have to search a long time to find someone with good everyday working terriers who did all the health tests before breeding their replacement litter.
