Dog Breeding forum is very educational ;)

I have to say i do love coming in here. I don't breed, and i've never bred and probably never ever will intend to do so either. But still coming in here, and reading threads like sunny's thread about roxy and the puppies etc is very interesting and you kind of learn a lot from other people don't ya?

i like this forum

Re: Dog Breeding forum is very educational ;)

I'm the same, i know very little about breeding(covered the basics in college) so don't come in here often but when i do i now find myself going over the "standard questions" like health tests/ethical breeders etc etc

So thank you all the people who know the ins and outs of breeding...i never intend to breed but all knowledge is worth having!!!

It's my favourite section. Problem is, I find myself lecturing people about breeding willy nilly and with no health tests lol. I have to say, it's opened my eyes to a lot of things.

I so agree! I have no intention of breeding but I love coming in here to see pictures of cute puppies and learning about the whole process.

It gives me a great insight in what to look for in an ethical breeder. I love learning new things

Re: Dog Breeding forum is very educational ;)

I love it and hate it at the same time, there are great posts from folk who have done everything, or if they haven't and have ended up breeding or taking on a bitch that's pregnant, take the advice offered to them even if it comes with a bit of flack. But then I hate the threads that start nicely, and things just go downhill, with it becoming apparent that the breeder's done nothing except use their dog as a cash cow, with some posters even lying about the situation and being found out later.
