They are absolutely adorable, rottie pups are just like fat teddy bears you need to squidge

Re: 6 bouncing baby boys

the hubby does not let me make cups of tea anymore

it takes me an hour to make a cuppa, well you go into the kitchen and they all get up and come over to you and you JUST HAVE TO GIVE THEM A LOVE AND A CUDDLE
he has come into the kitchen on several occasions and found me sitting on the floor covered in rotties
i don't see a problem in that,,,,,,,,,,,,but the tea is cold by this time

he has put a board up in the garden to try and slow them down from getting to his workshop, all that is missing is the starter pistol
he opens the back door and they all run out (including him) it is a case of see who can trip him up so and stop him getting to the workshop, when they get inside they are chewing tools, under the car, getting full of oil and grease sawdust and anything else they can find,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sooooooooooo much fun

even the rattle of the dinner bowl does not bring them out
i will see if i can get the camera working and take some more pics as they are HUGE now
all over the 8kg mark, eating me out of house and home, and him out of tools, never thought he would have to puppy proof the workshop

Re: 6 bouncing baby boys

one of my little boys left home today,
but he has gone to a lovely couple, they have knowledge of big dogs and their needs, so i was quite happy to let him go,
i never realised how big they were till they had hold of them, and one filled both arms
my little boys are getting bigger

Re: 6 bouncing baby boys

as requested

we had a little visitor today, a little chiwowoa (i know it is spelt wrong) a whole 2lb little bundle of speed called ruby, that small she walked UNDER the boys, she was very unsure when she met the boys but after a couple of minutes they were running playing rough and tumble, it was great, i was a bit worried in case the boys were too rough with her (or thought she was a snack) but they were fab, very gentle, a lot more gentle than they are with each other, she did get a couple of swipes but she just bounced up and carried on playing, really funny as her head is the same size as their paws, i was sooo pround of the boys and their gentleness, by the time ruby went 7pm the boys were shattered and went to sleep they have not stirred since, not even when i went in to make a cuppa
Set_Nights, BlueBeagle and jackiep like this.

Re: 6 bouncing baby boys

i feel like i am in mourning

the boys have all gone, the kitchen is all quiet,
i miss my loves and cuddles,
i miss sitting on the kitchen floor for hours on end
i miss the mass feeding
i miss dodging the puddles in the morning
i miss the howls of excitment 1st thing in the morning
i miss them dragging at my dressinggown at 6 in the morning
i miss them pinching my slippers and runnung of into the garden with them
i miss them bounding across the garden when i shout "come on boys"
i miss them falling alseep on me
i miss them getting in the garage and running off with anything they could get in their mouths
i miss them trying to kill the sheepskin rug in the front room
i miss them picking up the tealight candles and running behind the settee with them
i miss them getting over the board in the kitchen coming up the stairs and waking me up a stupid oclock
i miss the loving look when they have been asleep and wake to to find they are still on you and you are still cuddling and stroking them, even though my arms were dropping off

i miss my boys:
i know they have gone to loving homes, i have had several emails & pics

but i still miss my boys
