That aside this girl is pregnant and if she isn't health tested does that mean we shouldn't care and possibly let her die during whelp? Of course it doesn't and those who scare folk off when they need advice should hang their heads in shame if it means the death of any pups or the mother. You should bear in mind none of this was the bitch's doing and it's she who will ultimately suffer should anything go wrong.
Who said anything about letting the bitch die and that the bitch is going to suffer because the OP doesn't have someone to sit there and help?

Firstly, it is not a good idea to have a stranger come in when a bitch is whelping - it is a stressful enough experience and a bitch could easily become upset. Which would mean that whoever was prepared to drop everything at any time of day or night would have to also spend time with the bitch from now on to ensure she was comfortable around her and got to know her. To come onto a petforum and ask someone to do that is wrong for the bitch even if they can get anyone - as SL says, this is a pet forum not even a breed forum. A breeder (even if it's not the first time) should have back up of course. And what about the stud's owner? I've yet to use a stud who's owner hasn't said as soon as she starts let me know and I will keep my mobile on day or night - call me at any time if you need to. This has nothing to do with the bitch and everything to do with the breeder's lack of knowledge or lack of confidence in that knowledge. Regardless of the reason, it does not best to come onto a pet forum to ask for someone's help. If there is a professional midwoof in the Dorking area I do not know of one - although I do know of a number of breeders in sussex. However, they are busy people and can't imagine they would drop everything to go and sit with a stranger - be on the end of a phone maybe, but few of us have the luxury of sitting around with nothing to do. If you have the luxury of already knowing someone who can sit in with you and knows the bitch great, but most first time breeders get along without (even if it is stressful) but that is part of breeding and you have to be prepared for that, as long as you have someone on the end of a phone including the vet.

I give up
swarthy and Blondie like this.
