Re: BVA Hip Scoring

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for his scores to come back Hopefully it won't be too long as I hate the waiting process.

Wow!! Swarty thats a lot of money and time to have 2 dogs done at the same time as well as having both hips and elbows. Having the plates done cost me just over £100 so not bad at all, I don't mind paying as it needs doing but was just shocked with the BVA fee.

Im sure the fee is likely to go up over Christmas everything else seems to!! I'll have Pixie next year who will need her hips scored.

Re: BVA Hip Scoring

We had two lots of hips and elbows done last Spring and it cost us £180 per dog and that included the BVA fee - very reasonable Vets I thought!

Re: BVA Hip Scoring

Star's hip score was done earlier this year, I paid £50 to the BVA, haven't paid for the x-rays yet (I work at a vets). The x-rays were taken on 30 June, I posted them recorded delivery on 1 July and the score was receved back on 30 July.
