Re: Cant belive what I have just read....

Isn't it just awful you see as bad as it is I wish I could buy one or two just to know that they have a good home. Just wonder what kind of homes they'll get and for how long. Poor poor babies, makes me so sad for them.

Taking away the fact that this 'breeder' is lower than low for a minute - unless the breeder has purposefully taken mum away from the pups which doesn't happen very often as bitch's instincts for their babies make them hell to live with if you have to separate them before she is ready - it is generally MUM who decides when she wants to be away from her babies - this can be as early as 4 weeks, or in the case of my eldest bitch, when all but the last one leaves - which has been as late as 11 weeks.

Predominantly, the 6 to 8 week period is about what pups learn from their litter mates including bite inhibition - but it's not unusual for mum to be fully away from the pups by this time (and also not an excuse for the breeder to get rid of the pups earlier - but some will, as once mum leaves them - there's a hell of a lot more work to be done )

Exactly the point, why bother cleaning up after them and having to spend out on food yourself when you can just get rid mad2: I have heard this ridiculous reason for letting puppies go early so many times and never once have I actually managed to change one 'breeders' mind when telling them the reasons for keeping them till 8-10 weeks. These twats are just not interested in anything but ££££££
But, as long as there are people who will buy badly bred/reared puppies there will be people breeding them. IF she is still left with 8 puppies at 12 weeks old (quite likely I would imagine) they have eaten her furniture, ruined her carpets, destroyed what garden she had and cost a fortune in food and vets bills PERHAPS the poor bitch will be rehomed and be lucky enough to not have another lot !!!
archielee, majortom and swarthy like this.

Unfortunately that is probably going to be her main selling point for these pups, getting people to feel sorry for them and then they want to save them mad:
I have actually heard a BYB boast about how easy it is to sell the runt or 'ugly' puppy in the litter like that He said 'The more he insults it, the more likely the dozy family are to take it home' mad:

What a horrible waster of space "breeder".. 6weeks and my pups have only just had their virst trip into the garden, yes they are now hard work and mum is not so intrested anymore but sell them now? No way! More fool those who are buying these mutts so early which will just encourage her to breed again!!

Re: Cant belive what I have just read....

I am not surpised........there are so many selfish pratts out there......sometimes i really wish dogs didnt have a price on their heads....it would stop this senseless cruel breeding...

Am hoping they do get a happy ending......but the reality is normally the opposite....which i know you all know what i mean

And so the cycle continues .....
