my 8 year old lab is blind ..has been for the past year , he has no probs at all moving around the house ..have to watch him wen taking him a walk as he does sometimes fall down ditches but apart from that he's ok and loves life

Have you spoken to the breeder today? Might be worth calling her up and making her aware you are still very interested in the pup.

We had a pup born with a cataract, we had the cataract removed and new lens put in when she was 6 months old, the op cost over £2000 but we paid and then let her go to a family member free of charge.
