Show dogs are predominantly not short legged and heavy, they are well balanced with the correct well sprung rib - and often more in keeping with the long standing breed standard written by a large proportion of working folk than many working dogs, some of which have gone much further the other way.

Still - beauty is in the eye of beholder - I know you have pinpointed a couple of stud dogs you like the look of from the LH website, and I can assure you, both owners would be more than receptive to phonecalls and will give you all the help, support and advice you could ask for,
