Re: Advice Needed

The Kennel Club's policy has an add on for breeding that you activate, pay extra for and then deactive but it is NOT cheap. However for a Pug, I would recommend looking into it.

Re: Advice Needed

I have a couple insured with the KC breeders policy. Have not had to claim for anything breeding related but they cover all sorts, its worth researching. Its about £30 a month per dog though. I have two insured on my Direct Line (non breeding cover) policy for £13 so its quite a difference

Incidentally, none of my pugs are covered by the KC they are all insured, but with "normal" policies. I have been very lucky that i've not had to have a c-section or anything like that with my pugs and I always make sure theres enough put aside incase anything goes wrong. Any claims put your premiums up so I tend to look at the insurance as something to deal with the illness (i currently have one being treated for leukemia on the insurance) rather than breeding related things.
