hello guys ,My bitch is in the last few weeks of Pregnancy just wondering what different ideas you have on what to feed!??

the last three weeks we feed puppy food
same quantity as normal ,in three small meals
this way the bitch gets what she needs
with out feeling full

As above although I have toy breeds so usually 4 small meals

Thats what i thought !
Anybody every use goats milk ??

We dont use it unless they are being picky eaters if they are eating fine and it is a good quality food they dont need any other supplements either

what the dried puppy food or wet??

Dry Junior food we use Starter but that can only be got through the vet (I think) unless you are on there breeder scheme but the Medium Junior should be ok for yours and feed it dry.

What do you feed at the moment ??

well like i said she did go through about 7-10 days of the first couple of weeks of not wanting to eat her normal food,in fact if i even put a bowl of tripe in front of her she would pull away like i had put smelling salts under her nose!
She would not eat canned puppy dog food ether!
So i got through this by feeding her Tuna/Chicken/goats milk etc etc
I have tried her this morning on Puppy canned dogs food and i she seems now to like it!? Am i better sticking her on this now rather than the Tuna/Chicken goats milk etc etc ??
She would never eat dry food on it own though Julie!
