Hi guys,

My bitch has gne into labour and would appreciate any advice alonng the way.

first concern is, (cant remember what its called) but a sac is protruding from her vulva, now i know this is normal but it does not contain a clear liquid!! it is very red and looks like it contains blood. what does this mean?? do i need to take her the vets

I've not come across this in my own bitch so not really sure, hopefully someone will come along with some help but best thing really would be to ring your vet and ask them for advice.

Yes if its red its a vet visit asap. It should be the colour of really weak black tea.

sorry it was me panicking a bit!! The fluid is the colour of weak tea.

Ive got a relative here who has had a litter before so told me it was normal.

i'll be hear now till the end and ill keep you guys up to date.
