Reusable Whelping Identification Collars

Does anyone know anywhere online I can purchase 10-15 Reusable Whelping Identification Collars?

I have just been quoted £5 a collar from our local pet shop and I'm sure I've seen them else where for half that price but cannot remember where.

Re: Reusable Whelping Identification Collars

I've never understood why people need to put collars on pups.
I bit of strategically placed nail varnish in a different place on each pup does the identification job just as well.

Ask Tanya... she makes whelping collars... I can understand them if the whole litter look the same, such as wholecolour litters

I love our breed - nothing needed to tell them apart - they do that themselves

Re: Reusable Whelping Identification Collars

We always used nail varnish, but as the pups dont like the smell when you re-apply, I thought we would be 'posh' this time and get little collars, lol!

Have to say I love them! We got the rubbery newborn ones you just tie in a knot and then when ours where about 2 weeks old we put the posh ones on, adjustable, so will fit till 8 weeks old no problems, and maybe a bit longer too. I just had to tell the lady who makes them what breed I had and how many dogs and bitches. We got ten little handmade collars all different colours and I think they look lovely! They are washable and reusable, so will be keeping them for next time too.

I've had 8 chocolate pups, 4 girls, 4 boys - still didn't see the need for collars

Probably because I've got gundogs and none of my adult dogs wear collars either but it seems so odd to me to have collars on pups
