Day 56, stringy mucus.

Hi All.

We had quite a bit of stringy mucus last night all down my girls legs. We are on day 56 and she is really starting to slow down now.

Is this normal around this sort of time? I cant really find a definate yes or no

Also, I have started taking her up to bed with me, but she wont settle. I wondered if people prefer to sleep downstairs with their dog or have the dog upstairs with them? I have brought a baby monitor so I can hear her when shes downstairs at night atm.

Thanks x

Re: Day 56, stringy mucus.

Stringy mucus is normal at any stage of pregnancy and providing it is clear and has no smell there is nothing to worry about.

At day 56 I would be sleeping where is it she will be whelping. If you have decided she was to whelp in your bedroom (not where I would choose as its not practical) then she would be sleeping there with me.... If not, I would be sleeping in her room with her.
