my GSD bitch is having a phantom and has proved herself as a good mum in the past.

If a bitch is having a phantom it can help to raise say orphaned or rejected puppies. Also good for the puppies

Thanks for putting this up..... But I think it would be in her best interests for you to try and get her out of her phantom, then consider having her spayed if her phantoms are severe enough to bring up a litter of puppies.

totally agree with tanya, my mums friends siberian husky was spayed after havin severe phantoms ( 2 i think ) she got very agrresive over one of the kids toys she thought was her 'baby' during one, my mums friend thought it may be a 1 off and she had another phantom and hid all the grandkids toys and if she went near them would actually fly at her!! teeth baring everythin
took her 2 the vet and he suggested spayin ( she was 3 ) and she had it done the follwin week and has been fine since ( shes now 5 )
