As a number of us have said - and having seen girls post season pregnant and not pregnant - there IS a risk here she could be - and you need to get this dealt with ASAP (this is aside from any neutering that takes place)

Ok thanks. What's the injection called? Is it called mismate? She'll have to wait till I get paid next week unless I can lead the money off my neighbours somehow.

Re: Need help from a breeder

I know there is an ideal time for a bitch to be spayed, but that dosnt meant it the ONLY time it can be done, a vet will do a spay if there is a possibility of an unwanted litter, especially a dog that has been rescued, and is in preperation of a new home, I would go speak to the vet about it again, also it may be worth contacting your local rescues/rehoming centers, they may have a reduced costs neutering/spaying service, I know the rescue I work at is very cheap in comparison to a "normal" vets fees, it may be that if they provide this service, it would be cheaper than having the mismate jab?
