My neighbour has four dogs, two bitches and two dogs.

I thought that both females had been spayed but it seems like one of the bitches isnt. The two males are intact and have been going mental, constantly humping her - they have only done this in the last two days and he's only had the female for a few months so I'm assuming she hasnt been spayed and is in season.

The bitch is now shut outside on her own (the owner just let them all out but one of the dogs wouldnt leave her alone so he's taken the others in and left her out there). She's obviously distressed as her tail, which is normal high up on her back (its curly) is down between her legs and she didnt even bark when she spotted me and my OH (she usually barks a few times).

How likely is it that she will have pups?

I've got no idea how old any of the dogs are, one bitch and one dog are rotts, the other bitch is a mix of everything and the other dog is a weimaraner.

I cant talk to the owner as he is a stubborn old man and we're not exactly friends with him.

It just makes me so mad

Could you "bite your tongue" and smile sweetly while you tell him what you have seen? Many small local rescues are brilliant and would hopefully step in here and offer to spay bitch NOW.

Why not look in YP or call local vets and ask for some local rescue numbers and have a chat with them, they might have a suggestion or offer to do something positive

RSPCA can't do a lot, there hands are tied ...

But a visit from them might mean they offer advice and help?
