Re: Health tests?

Well I'll wait and see what she says, if I hear back. If I don't I guess I had a lucky escape!

Re: Health tests?

If you look back at the pedigree, ALL dogs should have hip scores: personally I wouldn't have any dogs with a total of more than 14. And there shouldn't be a vast difference between left and right. Not a difference of more than 3 or 4.
Or if done by the German System then A normal is upto about 8 or 9, and Fast Normal is about 8/9 - 14/15. NZ is 14/15-19/20. I wouldn't want NZ although it's classed as acceptable.
Parents at least should be elbow scored normal.
Most people don't eye test tbh.. It's not rife as in other breeds.
Again with JRD most people don't test, although hopefully that will change soon.
Males should be Haem clear/normal.

Also if I'm honest I'd be looking for ScH qualifications in the pedigree (SchH1, SchH2 or SchH3 - SchH3 being the best), and breed survey (KK1 - recommended for breeding, KK2 - suitable for breeding)

They don't really state their reasons for breeding either? Do they show?
How do they know their dogs are of good conformation to the breed standard if they don't have judge critiques?
