Re: Weaning age

Varies amongst breeds and litters, but generally 2 weeks 4 days. (1 day after worming finished)

Re: Weaning age

I started at 3.5 weeks with my litter of Border Collies, but they had milk from mum until they were just over 6 weeks old.

Re: Weaning age

I can't remember exactly what age, but it was somewhere between 3-4 weeks. I probably could have started a few days sooner as they were right greedy little buggers lol

Re: Weaning age

Well cockers are a medium breed but it is a small litter & they have finished their first worming today

I may try them with a bit of sloppy doo tomorrow & see how they do with it, if they aren`t ready i`ll just try again in a few days. Just mum doesn`t seem to be feeding them as much now (not that the little chubsters are likely to waste away)

Thanx for the replies
