This is the thing isn't it - it really does depend on the individual dog.

I know there is no way I could have left my Hope with anyone, and the same with Bronte who will soon be ready for mating - but their mother - omg - she was the tart from hell - the biggest risk they would have had there was containing her to the individual stud dog she was intended for - and really would not have cared less if we were there or not

She's 8 now, and STILL cries outside the boys room at night when she is in season

lol Rio's like that a tart , aged 10 now been spayed but still stands for the boys,and will do anything for food.
