Just thought i would pop on here and see what people seem to of paid for hip scoring i know the BVA charge there £50 but what did your vets charge you?

I paid £82.42 to the vet and then £50 to the BVA.

Without the BVA charges, £150 for hips and a further £50 for elbows and further £50 for patellas

They are also the best vets for hip scoring in Lancashire.

I have been told, don't know if its true, that the BVA board who assess the plates is a board of 3 vets! One if which is apparently at the practice that charge those prices.

Could be true or could be a good marketing gimmick for the unsuspecting!!!!!!! I have no idea. If anyone does, let me know

£449 for two dogs plus £180 to the BVA

THe cost with my own vet for the plates would have been around £800 for the two dogs.

Don't pick a vet on price, pick them on reputation, experience and quality of plates.

Did you ever find the name of that vet you were recommending in Lancashire? Was it the same one?

I paid around £120 (80 + 40) in total had them done at Lakeview Vets , Finglesham , kent

The vet at out rawcliffe is the vet. Moy farm vets...amazing....I could not sing their praises enough.
