Health testing

Has anyone heard of the company Laboklin that carry out certain health testing on dogs??

Also has anyone used them???

Not used them but know many people who have.

The test our breed uses it for is still un-certain (results can be inaccurate) maybe worth taking to someone within your own breed about them as they will have experience with the exact test you need.

I would suggest optigen hands down.....

No idea how laboklin do them but optigen are my first choice in all health tests.

Optigen all the way

Optigen send the results directly to the KC (assuming your breed is one of those that has the agreement in place) - they hold the patent for PRA

I know people who have used Laboklin for whole litters because they are cheaper - but if you want the results on the database - then Optigen is the way forward
