So, I have 5 chihuahuas, 3 girls, 1 intact male and 1 neutered boy. My Alpa bitch had her first season about 4 months ago, now one of the other girls is in week 2 of her first season. My male is desperate to get to her (no no no no no) but she isnt flagging at him. When I run my fingers down her spine she does flag.

My question is, as shes not the alpha bitch, would that prevent her from flagging at my male?

I hope this makes sense?

I have no intention of breeding her Im just curious as to why shes wouldnt be interested in my male?

she may just not be ready to be mated, they wont flag thier tale till the times right and this can differ from dog to dog, all my girls have flagged tails at my boy whos castrated and the alpha female is spayed

Im hoping thats what it is. Shes Very submissive and I was hoping she wasnt feeling to intimidated by my other bitch.

Shes now on about day 15, I know they are all different in when they are actually ready x

One of my girls didnt flag at all during her first and second seasons but this latest one she did but was very lady like about it where as my other girls are so full on

LOL I know, one of mine wore my boy out chaseing him all over, we had to rescue him and set up a den for him in our bedroom, she really was full on, one of our other girls is full on too but at least has rest breaks

we now have baby gates all over so Jasper can escape thier clutches
