Seperation Anxiety

Well my bitch has made it to her stud's house. Missing her like mad already. But my poor male Dobe is now not eating his food and I had to sleep on the sofa last night with a 43.6kg painful lump digging his elbows in my legs. The joys of it all, I did think about changing his food to see if I can combat this hunger strike, he is on Eukanuba large breed puppy at mo. Shall I grin and bear it for the next 5 days or put him on something else?

Re: Seperation Anxiety

For the sake of 5 days I wouldn't change his food.... It would take me longer than 5 days to change food over anyway, so not worth upsetting his system as well as his emotions

Re: Seperation Anxiety

Thats what I thought coz If I need to change food I do it over about 7days maybe a bit longer coz they have slightly sensitive stomachs. I suppose if he has plenty of water he should be ok, he needs to diet anyhow

Re: Seperation Anxiety

If mine have off days I put a bit of Chappie or similar underneath their dry, (AG). It usually disappears quickly then
