Question Weaning and hygiene

The pups are 3 and a half weeks now and are now able to focus and walk around (albeit wobbly ) I want to put a bowl of water in their pen and look to introduce food next week. Question is - how clean do the bowls I use need to be? - is a good clean with hot soapy water suffice or do I need to steralise them with milton etc?

Re: Weaning and hygiene

I stick them in the dishwasher, then just give them a rinse with water after.... If you think about it..... the food they are eating will be far from sterile.
