Re: Is Your Dog From Health Tested Parents?

Tala,Kodi & matsi all from tested parents, poor Ozzy was an accidental mating(they owned both dog & bitch) so he was not from tested parents but is 2 yrs and castrated and a pet only,no signs of anything yet.Testing all four for Epilepsy Genes none of them have it but doing the tests so we can be clear!

Absolutely no idea. I reckon Todd's are, but no idea who Breagha's parents are!

This is Todd's Dad - Pedigree of Smooth Rumble *

This is Todd's Mum - Pedigree of Lemon Aqua

And this is Todd - Pedigree of Threecastle Bob

Re: Is Your Dog From Health Tested Parents?

My Heinz 57 is illegitimate - she doesn't even know her father. Social Services didn't want to know. She is 10 - fit as a fiddle - only ever been to vets for routine vaccinations/ booster.

Lily, our baby Retriever is from health tested parents.

My own children are from health tested parents- we have yearly medicals and so far touch wood have a clean bill of health/ Are you health tested?

Re: Is Your Dog From Health Tested Parents?

4 yr old sheltie No accidental breeding not reg. healthy at this time fingers crossed
2 yr old sheltie No the breeder was actually surprised when I told her I was getting her eyes tested she didn't even know and she's getting her elbows tested is that luxtating pattelas (sp)
10 mth old collie Yes both parents had eyes and hips and she gets done at 2
I'm interested in breeding the collie if all tests are good but that is still a long ways off...Jill

raindog will become famous soon enough
Re: Is Your Dog From Health Tested Parents?

Luckily our breed is pretty healthy compared with many, but all our adult dogs are from health-tested parents and are tested themselves. We test for hips and eyes (Glaucoma, PRA and Heridary Cataracts).
