Re: Do you breed?

We breed Border Collies but we're ISDS (International Sheepdog Society) Reg'd and therefore don't fit into any of the poll categories

That is just how I feel, my breed clubs code of ethics is much stronger than the KC requirements so why should I line the KC's pockets to prove I am doing less than I have always done.

Now if they gave Ethical breeders a discount on their fees for having high standards then I could see the point.

After all most serious breeders pay every year to keep their affix going, that's money for nothing. Some people have an affix and don't even breed and what does the kennel club give them for their money each year?

Re: Do you breed?

I used to show and breed but gave up, my last litter was nearly 5 years ago and my girls are all spayed now.

I don't breed and I wouldn't at the mo as pepsi is 9 , I wish I did when she was younger she has a wonderful temperment and has lovely markings,

Re: Do you breed?

We was thinking of using our short haired black and tan Chihuahua as a stud dog but we are not sure yet.

Georgie and dino have been done.

I have bred two foals and that was stressfull enough!
