Puppy belly buttons.
Hi,
the pups are 11 days old today. I've been looking at their bellybuttons and they are all healed up and lovely now. My CKCS had a hernia so I do know what they look like, but I don't know what a normal puppy belly button looks like at this stage, Theres nothing protruding from them, and they are flat but when they wriggle around they can look ever so slightly more out. Its hard to explain. I don't think they have hernias, but I wouldn't be confident in putting that down on papaer as I don't know what a normal button looks like?! If that made any sense to you Congratulations  am trying to google pics but can't get anything up that helps me. I just want to be able to 'tick' it off my list IYKWIM?

Like I said the only hernia I have ever come across has been very large, so I just wanted to check these button are normal! Daisys was like this

Hi pugD, its hard to see from the pics i would want to have a little feel as well
They do look a bit like my girls puppies... i would give it one more week and then see how they are... or if you can't wait take the to your vet Hope that helps

Hey Pug_D, I think their belly buttons are fine!
 Celeste's pups have a little bump too. I can feel it because their hair has grown so much over their belly buttons now!! Heehee  And everything has healed very well also.
